In 2014 I remember seeing a body that looked like mine, wearing something very cute on Instagram and something shifted inside of me. I realized how important seeing a fat body living their life is and I wanted to be that person for myself and my niblings (children of my siblings). That was the birth of Fierce Fat Femme. 

In 2015 I started my graduate school journey toward a Master of Arts degree in Communication Studies with an emphasis in Fat Studies and Performance Studies.  That is where I began my journey with Fat liberation and my belief that fat bodies deserved to be showcased.

Now I offer retreats and workshops based on Fat Liberation. I host a free virtual support group for fat people called Full Fat and I work with brands to represent the fat experience. I started modeling in 2019 and became a signed plus-size model in July of 2022.
